Double your Donation, for one week only!

A few weeks ago we were thrilled to hear that we had been successful in applying for a place on The Big Give’s Small Charity Week fundraising campaign. This brilliant initiative will maximise donations to small charities from the public by matching every donation up to a certain amount.

Dadlg were very fortunate to be awarded a £2500 match funding pot from Postcode Neighbourhood Trust thanks to players of the Postcode Lottery UK.   Every donation we receive during Small Charity Week (22nd to 29th June 2026, from 12pm) will be matched from this pot.  That means we could raise up to £5000 in total to help fund our amazing holiday activity programme for the rest of this year.

Every penny raised will go towards funding our Summer, October Half Term and Christmas holiday activities along with the National Lottery Community Fund grant which helps to support everything we do.  We have an amazing programme already in place for Summer – everything from a stay-over at Drayton Manor and a ride on the steam train to Whitby to Paddle Boarding at Seaham and a Pool Party.  This extra funding would help us to keep prices affordable for families at a time when everything is rising in price.
