Job Title: Project Facilitator
Salary: From £17,750 per annum
Hours: Part time, 25 hours per week including occasional evenings or weekends
Durham Area Disability Leisure Group (DADLG) is a small, Durham based charity which provides sports, leisure and social activities for children and young people with disabilities and their families. Due to recent expansion, trustees are seeking to appoint a part-time Project Facilitator.

You must be able to work flexibly and creatively with a real desire to improve choices and opportunities for inclusion within the local community.
Key Duties:
- Identify potential funders and secure funding to enable the project to deliver its objectives.
- Establish and develop good working relationships with key funders, commissioning bodies and DADLG Trustees.
- To prepare and submit outcome reports to grant making bodies as required in the terms and conditions of each grant.
- To maintain the organisation’s profile with the Charity Commission ensuring that the organisation remains compliant at all times.
- To manage the organisation’s website and social media.
- To attend activities, events and regular Trustee meetings.
- Work with the Trustees to implement the organisation’s policies and procedures.
Experience and essential criteria:
- Knowledge of the funding and grant application process
- Proven track record of successful funding applications
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Experience of working with children and young people
The post requires a flexible approach to working for 25 hours per week and is subject to a 12 week probationary period.
