Job Title: Project Manager

Length of post: 12 months in the first instance, continuation subject to funding

Durham Area Disability Leisure Group (DADLG) is a small, Durham based charity which provides sports, leisure and social activities for children and young people with disabilities and their families. Due to the retirement of the Project Manager on 31st October, trustees are seeking to fill this post.

If you are enthusiastic and passionate about making a difference to the lives of children with additional needs and their families, we want to hear from you. You must be able to work flexibly and creatively with a real desire to improve choices and opportunities for inclusion within the local community.

The post requires a flexible approach to working for 25 hours per week at a rate of £15 per hour (£19,500 per annum) and is subject to the successful completion of a 12-week probationary period. Hybrid working between the office base and home will be with the approval of trustees. The successful candidate will have access to DADLG’s Pension Scheme and an annual holiday entitlement of 125 hours (5 weeks), plus public holidays.

Applicants will require their own transport with essential mileage to carry out the role paid at 45p per mile. This excludes the first and last journeys of the day to and from the work base.
